As reported before, patch version 2.1 for FFXIV: A Realm Reborn is going to be introduced on December 17th, and Square Enix have provided a trailer that contains all of the major features the patch will add to the game.

Housing, ffxiv gil and beauty salons are, definitely addition to the game.

Patch 2.1 will add the FFXIV's story a scenario called “A Realm Awoken”. Additionally, a Crystal Tower labyrinth and ffxiv gil will be put into the game too, where you will meet enemies such as King Behemoth and Thanatos. The Wolves’ Den PVP arena will also make its debut in this patch.
